Recently my friend recommended to listen to the wisdom of T. Harv Eker and so I decided to purchase one of his recordings.
I’m glad I did because I got some invaluable lessons from it.
His most important thought, in my opinion, was about problems.
When I first heard this, I didn’t quite understand what he meant until I experienced it myself.
Let me explain how I understood and applied this concept.
I’ve noticed that the more success I achieve, the bigger the challenges I experience.
For example, recently my website was hit by some malicious software. If I would have 50 articles on it, it would be nothing to clean it. However I have over 250… That meant having to pay much more for the web designer to do the cleaning for me.
Do I get upset about my setbacks? Not anymore. I indeed became bigger than my problems.
In fact, I don’t consider anything to be a problem, only a challenge. And challenges are exciting to overcome.
You may ask how I became bigger than my problems. And if you ask such question, it means you exercise free thinking and so you should pat your back:)
I became bigger than my problems when I:
*started perceiving them as challenges
*began to think that challenges are fun and exciting
*realised that every challenge teaches me something valuable about myself
*affirmed that this challenge was created by me and so it can be changed by me
Furthermore, I tend to spend my time focusing on the desirable end result rather than challenges. This makes challenges look less scary because they don’t have much time to expand (what you focus on expands).
Also, focusing on desirable result keeps my energy on a high level and from this state I can access the solutions of the problems.
So when I keep my positive attitude I sooner or later become aware of how to solve the problems. If the answers don’t come straight away, I simply wait with full faith that they will come or work on raising my vibration.
Or if some situation seems very uncertain or even disadvantageous, I firstly look at what hidden benefits it brings. If I can’t see the benefits, I look for the lesson the situation teaches. If I can’t see any lesson, I wait with full faith that this situation is going to be beneficial for me in one way or another.
I recently quoted in my social accounts A Course In Miracles paragraph about fear and faith.
It said something along the lines of:
“When you do something out of fear, it will always result in failure. When you do something with faith, it will result in success.”
I fully believe this and because of that I tend not to get discouraged, and so far what I engage in is very successful. Try to apply this quote yourself and see what amazing things it will bring you.
There’s another thing I noticed that might contribute to the outgrowing of my problems.
It’s this: the more you diminish your ego, the less you are affected by your problems and the quicker you can solve them.
If you tend to get upset over the problems in your life, it means that you are smaller than your problems. You should work on this if you want to be on a steady course to success.
To do that, focus on the end goal rather than the problems, perceive problems as fun challenges and try to eliminate your ego to get less emotional about your setbacks. And then let me know your progress!
